Payment
Direct Wood Flooring accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. Other forms of payment can be discussed. Payment in full is expected at time of sale.
Minimum Quantity Order
Direct Wood Flooring accepts orders of 250 square feet or larger. Orders under 250 square feet are subject to additional handling charges. Call 407-925-0917 for details. Materials ordered after initial order of 250 sq or greater may be subject to additional handling or higher rates as these are considered as separate order.
Returns
Be sure to inspect all flooring items when delivered. All broken or damaged cartons should be rejected and returned to the shipper. All returned goods are subject to final inspection and approval at our facility before any credit is issued.
We try not to inconvenience you
with any defective flooring items. But try as we do, sometimes a defect occurs.
Then, the following rules apply:
- If any defect is evident within 5 days of
delivery but before the item is installed, STOP and contact us immediately.
We will issue a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) Number which must then
accompany the return of the defective items(s) as we direct at your cost.
Upon receipt, we will at our option either replace the defective item(s) or
credit your account or refund the purchase price for the defective item(s).
All returned goods are subject to final inspection and approval at our
facility before a credit is issued.
- If the defective item(s) described in #1 above is(are)
installed YOU OWN IT and we will not authorize a return, a replacement, a
credit or refund.
- If a defect is not evident until after installation,
we will only consider replacement or repair of the defective flooring
or credit your account or refund the purchase price for the defective
flooring provided that your claim is investigated and deemed defective as described in the manufacturer's LIMITED
WARRANTY. Then and only then will we replace the defective item(s) or credit
your account or refund the purchase price for the defective item(s).
- Defects within 10% of the total square footage of your order is considered "waste".
No credits, refunds or exchanges will be considered within that 10% margin.
The following rules apply
for returns on non-defective products, excluding Authentic Pine Floors.
- Returns or exchanges of hardwood flooring are accepted within 30 days of delivery date as full, unopened cartons minus a 25%
restock fee of the original product price and the freight back to the warehouse. The customer is responsible for all costs incurred in the return of the product. Please allow 4-6 weeks from the date we receive the returned material for your credit to be issued.
- We will issue a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) Number
which must then accompany the return of the hardwood flooring as we direct
at your cost.
- Hardwood flooring moldings, installation or floor care
accessories are NOT returnable.
- Special order, custom made or discontinued materials are
NOT returnable.
- Material that has been cut, altered or installed is NOT
returnable.
- The customer is responsible for the full amount of the delivered freight cost incurred by Direct Wood Flooring for any order that is refused or returned for reasons other than damages.
The following rules apply for
returns on non-defective products for Authentic Pine Floors.
- If there is any damage, it MUST be noted on the freight bill at the time of delivery. Direct Wood Flooring must be contacted immediately. After acceptance of material, all sales are final.
- Authentic recommends acclimation of their flooring 10 - 14 days prior to
installation. Do not acclimate on concrete.
Delivery
The carriers do not have the responsibility to unload the truck or deliver inside. Rates are for curbside delivery only, unless otherwise specified. There are additional charges for inside delivery and lift gates. Delivery times vary by carrier, and inventory. Deliveries normally run 10 to 14 Days and are not guaranteed delivery times.
- It is rare but occasionally materials can be damaged during transit. Please inspect all materials upon delivery and note if any damage, on the delivery slip that the driver will ask you to sign upon receipt of order. It is also important to account for all items that are included on the delivery slip and note and missing items. Any Damages that are not noted at the time of delivery cannot be claimed.

Six Month Limited Warranty
WE WILL AUTHORIZE NO RETURN
OR REPAIR, OR GIVE ANY CREDIT OR REFUND ANY MONEY, AND WE MAKE ABSOLUTELY NO
WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WHETHER OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS
FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR OTHERWISE, EXCEPT AS STATED IN THE FOLLOWING
LIMITED WARRANTY:
We warrant ONLY for a period
of six months from date of delivery that the flooring items are free from defects
which make the items unfit for their intended, normal use and only if it has NOT been installed.
Our ONLY obligation at this warranty period is at our option either to replace or repair the
defective items, is to credit your account or refund the purchase price of the
defective items. We have no other obligations at this time at will not otherwise
compensate anyone for any losses of any kind during or after this limited
warranty period. All our obligations end when this limited warranty period is
over.
This limited warranty is
void in the event that this limited warranty results from the negligence of
another abuse, abnormal usage, accident, improper installation, maintenance or
repair, or the failure to comply with the manufacturer’s instructions or
recommendations, or any condition, circumstance or conduct beyond our control.
This limited warranty does
not cover nor is it a defect that a product exhibits natural variation in color,
texture, graining and other natural features, or that seasonal expansion or
contraction occurs, provided that all the above are within industry standards.
Website Graphics
Photographs or other
graphics of flooring items on our website will never adequately reproduce the
actual quality of the flooring items, which we sell. At best, photos and
graphics are approximations and we cannot insure full accuracy because flooring
by its nature has differing degrees of gradations in color, texture, graining
and other natural features. Provided that flooring items are within industry
standards, we will not accept the return nor provide any compensation or remedy
for any flooring item, which you feel, may differ from what was depicted from
our website we provide as long as the differences are within industry standards.
Samples
All specimens by
Seller as samples are intended only as an identification of general and surface
characteristics, the generic layout, color and finish. Note, many wood species
and grades of wood species have varying graining patterns and coloring
throughout the floor boards. Seller will not be liable for customers
dissatisfaction with such appearance issues, unless covered by specific
manufacturer warranty.
Natural Characteristics
Any product
consisting of or containing any natural material sold by Seller is subject to
variations inherent in a natural product, such product will expand and contract
seasonally as well as with all changes in temperature and moisture. Real wood
possesses unique characteristics and gradations of color, graining and other
features which are hallmarks of nature’s own materials. No such gradations,
variations or characteristics shall constitute a defect under the limited
warranty, or otherwise.
Changes and Cancellations
No order changes or cancellations are allowed unless we agree in writing and on conditions we reasonably require. If cancellation of order is agreed upon, a 15% fee of the original product price will be applied. There are absolutely no cancellations on special orders, custom made material, discontinued materials or close out items.
Privacy Policy
Your privacy is very important and we are committed to protect it. We do not share your personal information with anyone for any
reason unless you authorize us in writing to do so.
You can always correct, update or require us to delete your personal information.
Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. So, we cannot guarantee complete privacy. We will do our best
to safeguard your privacy, but your use of the Internet must be at your own risk.
